Inverted VS Non Inverted : Inverted simply means the tripod twist locks are located at the top of the tripod vs at the bottom when in collapsed form. The benefits of the inverted system makes the tripod far easier to adjust on the fly as well as when the tripod is under load. This system comes all to user preference. With the inverted system you WILL not be able to use any leg wraps or caddies with your tripod.
