V2 Series Tripods

The V2 Series was designed in response to customer demand for a smaller, more compact tripod. This series only accepts heads with a 3/8” style thread—such as a ballhead, screw-on leveling head, or any other head with a 3/8” female thread.

NON-V2 Series Tripods

The NON-V2 Series features a 75mm removable center section, offering greater versatility. With these tripods, you can use any 75mm insertable head or a 3/8” screw-on style head (including ballheads or screw-on leveling heads). Please note that the Kit Tripod is excluded from this feature.

Tripod Main Tube Diameter

While the main tube diameter isn't the sole factor in determining a tripod’s stability, it does impact both weight and performance. Generally, a larger diameter means increased stability but also a heavier tripod. Here’s the breakdown for each series:

  • QDT Series: 42mm Main Tube
  • Recon Series: 38mm Main Tube
  • No Name Series: 38mm Main Tube
  • Kit Series: 30mm Main Tube
  • Voyager Series: 28mm Main Tube
  • Infil Series: 28mm Main Tube

Inverted vs. Non-Inverted Tripods

Inverted tripods have twist locks located at the top of the tripod when collapsed, while non-inverted models have them at the bottom.

Benefits of the Inverted System:

  • Easier adjustments on the fly, especially under load.
  • User preference will determine which system works best.

Important Consideration:
With an inverted system, you will not be able to use leg wraps or caddies.

Ballheads

We offer several ballhead options to complement your tripod. The only difference between each model is the type of clamp used:

  • 55mm Ballhead: Recommended for rifles and gear weighing 12 lbs and over.
  • 44mm Ballhead: Recommended for rifles and gear weighing 12 lbs and under.

Clamp Options:

  • Arcalock Dual Clamp: Picatinny/Arca-capable with a flip lever.
  • Arcalock QD Clamp: Arca Swiss top with a flip lever.
  • Arca Clamp: Standard Arca clamp with a twist knob.
