The head hold the rifle very well. The fine and coarse knobs for tilt are a nice addition to fine tune your mounting for high stability or fast target transition. The pan knob is tight and locks in well, however I would like to see some kind of head "lock" to keep the head from turning off the tripod. Correction ** After Daniel saw this he did reach out and explain to me there was a set screw and walked me through how to do so. Customer service was 5 Stars. Would recommend

This dual tension head works perfectly for my purposes. I hunt with my tripod and using this head to switch quickly between Binos, spotter, and rifle is absolutely perfect.
