The 44mm dual tension ballhead has become increasingly popular since launch. This ballhead features dual adjustment having a large knob for coarse adjustment and a smaller knob for fine adjustment. This really allows the user to get the ballhead dialed in for their needs of shooting and shooting style.

Very solid compact head
I chose the 44mm head for weight and size consideration. The head is super smooth and I love the dual tension feature. Supports my 12-14 pound rifles with ease. The thumb adjust arca plate is fine for me. Very simple and holds on enough that I can carry the rifle over my shoulder with the tripod attached.

44mm Ballhead
This is a very solid ballhead and it works amazing . I use it for spotting on top of my Recon V2 tripod for PRS/NRL competition but wouldn’t hesitate to use it for coyote hunting and trusting it to safely hold and support my nearly $15,000 setup.
